Rachel Bliss is a visual artist. For the past eighteen years, Bliss’s work has been exhibited, published and collected nationally as well as internationally. Publications include The New York Times, The New Yorker, The Village Voice, Sony Music Corporation and Penguin Books. Since 1990, she has had eleven solo shows and has exhibited in many group shows in numerous galleries and museums including The Philadelphia Museum of Art, The Society of Illustrators Museum in New York, Rider University, Coombs Contemporary Gallery in London, and the Alternative Museum in New York.
Bliss has been praised for creating imaginative, vivid and unsettling images through an intense and innovative manipulation of materials, including sheet rock, wood, floor tiles, oil, acrylic, graphite and fire.
According to art critic Andrew Mangravite, “This pristine artist all but personifies the pleasures and pains of creation. If there were such a thing as ‘Method Painters’, she’d be the Brando of the school.”

Hsiu Ying Lin is a Philadelphia-based artist who works in Chinese watercolors. She is a master of a technique that requires decades of practice and application. Lin, or Linda, has exhibited nationally and internationally. A published book of her work is available at the Philadelphia Museum of Art as well as juju spa & organics.

Mary Beth Kazanicka is a Philadelphia artist who works in mixed media. She is often creating oil paintings, collage with watercolor, ink and pastels. She is a modern painter who loves abstract concepts and color. Figures often mysteriously emerge in her work and people enjoy locating them.
She is experiencing a successful blend and influence of her past career as an Interior Designer with her current career as an artist. The application of textures, color and abstract space appears in most of her pieces.
Her studio is located in the Norristown Arts Building and she currently has a residency with artist Timothy Hawkesworth.
