Vharie joined the juju team in August of 2011. After 4 years of corporate management in the fashion industry, Vharie decided to take her many skills and talents to a smaller setting. The Beauty Business is in her blood, having literally grown up in her mother's salon in upstate New York.
Vharie was graduated with honors from the University of Pittsburgh with dual degrees in business management and graphic design. She is a great listener, she takes action, and she's a true team player--all of which which make her a wonderful fit as manager at juju.
Jill is a Skincare Therapist native to the Philadelphia area. She started her career in the early 2000's as a hair stylist and freelance makeup artist and later went on to graduate from the Paul Mitchell Vision Academy Esthetics Program. She has trained with a traditional Ayurvedic doctor from India to learn not only about natural skin care, but to also develop her yoga and meditation skills. Jill is confident to treat your skin with juju's toxic-free organic products. She is seasoned in microdermabrasion and peels, and offers a quick brazilian and detailed eyebrow sculpting. Brooke Petry is a Licensed Shiatsu Practitioner with a true passion for empowering her clients to take an active role in their health and wellbeing. Brooke started her career in healthcare as a Paramedic. When a serious back injury left her unable to walk without the help of a cane, Brooke turned to Shiatsu, Acupuncture, and Chinese Medicine as an alternative to prescriptive drugs and surgery. Five years later, her own health and mobility are a testament to the work that she is so proud to do.
Brooke is a graduate of the Whole Health Shiatsu program at the Massage Arts Center of Philadelphia, where she studied under Deb Overholt; Director of Schools and Programs for AOBTA (American Association for Bodywork Therapists of Asia). Her extensive training in Traditional Chinese Medicine, Macrobiotic Nutrition, and Mind Body Acupressure blend well with her former training in the Western Medical field and are incorporated into each Shiatsu session.
Brooke has helped clients with diverse and complex physical and emotional discomforts... ranging from severe depression and insomnia to the recovery from chemotherapy. Brooke also specializes in Pre and Post Natal Shiatsu Treatments.
Kate holds an A.O.S. in Massage Therapy from the Swedish Institute College of Health Sciences in New York, where she studied both Eastern and Western methods. Her continuing education has focused on shiatsu, myofascial release, and specific techniques that address physical imbalances and pain. She has worked with athletes, professional dancers, yoga practitioners, clients recovering from surgeries, and clients with stress-related disorders and chronic pain. She is also the author of a guide to massage published by SparkNotes. Before studying massage, Kate worked in journalism. She has a degree from New York University and is originally from Springfield, Ohio.

Monique received her esthetician certification in 2001, having
graduated from Jean Madeline in Philadelphia. Monique employs an
organic and natural approach to skin care and specializes in treating
problem skin with a delicate touch. In addition, Monique has a
clinical background in microdermabrasion and is highly trained in
extractions, peels and waxing.
Monique is committed to creating a comfortable environment for her
clients and addressing their specific needs. She brings her
friendliness, energy and skill to every session.
Quang completed his training in massage therapy at the Massage Arts
Center of Philadelphia. He earned a B.A. in English from Lehigh
University. Quang has worked with clients in a chiropractic setting,
providing therapeutic massage to patients with chronic muscular
issues. He has been recognized as an award-winning spa team member for
Best Massage Nationwide from SpaWeek.org and was individually featured
in Inside: The Jewish Lifestyle Magazine for excellence in massage
therapy.
Quang enjoys incorporating different techniques into his
sessions including shiatsu, aromatherapy and reflexology to
individually match each client's needs.
Hannah de Keijzer is a nationally certified massage therapist. She holds a
B.A. from Swarthmore College and is a graduate of the Cortiva Institute of
Muscle Therapy. A life-long practitioner of dance, she is currently the
Co-Artistic Director/dancer/choreographer for Philly's own Green Chair Dance
Group.
Hannah's sessions blend modalities - including Swedish, deep tissue,
neuromuscular techniques, myofascial release, and active/passive movement -
toward the goal of bringing to each client a sense of physical ease and a
pain-free, stress-free relationship with their body.
Courtney is extremely enthusiastic and excited about joining the dynamite team at Juju spa. After discovering she suffered from a gluten allergy four years ago, Courtney became much more attuned to the special needs of the body, in particular the skin. She left behind a successful career in real estate services to study skin care and ayurvedic techniques at the Rizzieri Aveda Institute in Voorhees, New Jersey.
Now a licensed esthetician, she has studied and practiced not only skin care but aromatherapy, chakra energy treatments and several other aspects of holistic health care. She believes in the tried and true disciplines of traditional eastern practices and at the same time stays on the cutting edge of skin care's new technologies and the latest ingredients. Courtney's real passion is meeting people's needs through skin care, and not only providing her customers a first-class experience in the spa, but also helping them realize the lasting value of ongoing attention to their skin through natural methods. Erika is a certified Massage Therapist and 2nd degree Reiki practitioner. After struggling with chronic headaches and unsuccessful treatments, she turned to yoga, acupuncture, herbal medicine and chiropractic care, finally finding relief and a new found sense of wellness! This experience sparked her interest in alternative healing and led her to pursue a career in massage therapy at Rizzieri School of Healing Arts in Marlton, NJ. She specializes in Swedish, Prenatal, Deep Tissue, Myofacial Release and Reiki.
Erika enjoys taking the time to get to know individual therapeutic needs and goals in order to accomplish a satisfying massage experience. She encourages her clients to listen to their bodies and to view wellness as a healthy connection between mind, body and spirit.
Ahlee, a Reading, Pennsylvania native, shares her warmth, passion and knowledge of skin-care with all of her clients. A natural athlete, Ahlee learned early on about the need and importance of living a healthy life-style. This, combined with her altruistic nature, makes Ahlee the perfect fit for our holistic, organic spa.
In Ahlee's free time, she is committed to fund-raising for organizations like The American Cancer Society, The Hummingbird Fund and various Nature Preserves in and around the Reading area. Her dual talents of Hair Stylist and Esthetician, makes Ahlee invaluable at both our salon and spa.
