Free Qigong Practice at juju!

Due to the level of interest in qigong in Philly, we have moved the free qigong practice sessions from the juju spa & organics to the juju salon & organics, 713 South Fourth Street, to have more space to accommodate all interested! The first Sunday of each month, from 9:30 - 10:30 AM we hold free qigong practice sessions at juju! When asked what is the one best thing you can do for your health, Dr. Oz said practice qigong! Please come share this wonderful healing energy whether you are a beginner or an experienced qigong practitioner.

Why practice qigong? When asked what is the one practice he would recommend to stay healthy, Dr. Oz said, “If you want to be healthy and live to 100, do qigong.” Qigong has withstood the test of time. It is practiced daily by 200 million people, is a central part of Traditional Chinese Medicine and has been used as a medical treatment on tens of millions of people for more than 5,000 years. It is the “secret” to how the Chinese maintain the same life expectancy as Americans while only spending less than 1% of what we do on healthcare.

How will you benefit personally by practicing qigong? Traditional Chinese Medicine says that health comes from the free flow of your vital life energy, “qi.” When you practice qigong, you clear your energy blockages which can result in healing physically, mentally and spiritually. A recent survey of qigong practitioners showed a 36% increase in all aspects of their lives.

What we will do in the practice sessions? We’ll spend about half of the practice doing gentle, slow moving “active exercises” that move your qi around inside your body. We’ll spend the other half of the practice in a group guided meditation where you’ll be moving the energy around your body by using your mind. And, we’ll save a few moments to talk briefly and leave a few minutes for questions as well.

Who is giving the classes? A passionate student of Spring Forest Qigong (SFQ), Lynn has completed 16 courses with Master Lin out of Minneapolis, MN, was the first person in the Northeast US to become certified as a SFQ instructor and is now the first student in Philadelphia who will earn the Master Healer certification this year. In partnership with juju spa & organics, she is spreading this wonderful healing modality to the Greater Philadelphia area. HealQigong, open your heart and heal your body and spirit. What about private healing sessions? Private healing sessions are also available by appointment at juju spa & organics. Call 215-922-3235 or 215-238-6080 if you are interested in scheduling a private healing session.
