What does a reading consist of? Do I need to prepare?
A birth chart is a snapshot of the planets the moment you were born. This picture is used as the basis for a personal astrology reading. To obtain a birth chart, you will need your the date, time and location of birth. Exact time of birth is ideal, though not essential.

How can astrology help and what are its benefits?
My goal as an astrologer is to empower the client by illuminating ideas and themes indicated by their chart. The chart gives insight into various facets of life from personality to family to career – wherever your interest lies. Astrology is a valuable tool to develop self-awareness. The reading usually confirms something the client may already know and hearing from a third party may help them take action.

How reliable can astrology be?
No matter how many times I see it, I am still surprised at how incredibly accurate astrology can be. Precise. At the same time, astrology is flexible – the messages are not set in stone. There are dozens of ways to  interpret each aspect of a birth chart – my goal is to elucidate the positive aspects and to take on difficult aspects from a proactive perspective.

What got you interested in astrology, personally?
I began studying astrology several years ago when I received Stephen Arroyo’s book Person-to-Person Astrology: Energy Factors in Love, Sex and Compatibility as a birthday gift from my friend and fellow astrologer. That friend later became my mentor, and the book sparked a central focus of my astrological interest: relationships.
